Your support helps cats like Rigger!
Rigger’s Second Chance
Rigger is a quiet, affectionate cat with a big heart and a love for the simple things—like warm sunbeams, soft blankets, and the occasional evening zoomie. He’s not demanding, but he does appreciate a gentle pat, a comfy lounge, and a calm home where he can truly feel safe.
Right now, Rigger is thriving in foster care thanks to the Animal Welfare League NSW. And when he finds his forever home, it will open the door for the next animal in need.
By supporting AWL NSW, you’re not just helping cats like Rigger—you’re giving second chances, safe spaces, and a lifetime of care to animals across the state. Help us keep that cycle of kindness going.

The Dog House Australia
The Dog House Australia is a heart-warming TV show, produced by Channel 10 and filmed at our Kemps Creek shelter in Western Sydney. Each week, the episodes showcase the people, from all walks of life, who come to Animal Welfare League NSW in search of the pawfect dog to complete their family.
You’ll see how our hard-working and dedicated veterinary staff treat the sick and injured; how our vets and vet nurses make sure animals are healthy and ready for their new start to life.
You’ll hear about how Inspectorate investigates allegations of cruelty and neglect, rescuing animals from desperate situations. You’ll hear some of the heart-breaking stories of how these poor animals arrive at our doors.
You’ll also feel the joy of seeing them matched with a family who simply adores them; who will give them the love and life they deserve.
